NaturalWrite collects anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. This includes:

  • App usage events (e.g., when features are used)
  • Text length ranges (not the actual text content)
  • Device information (operating system, app version)

This data is collected through Aptabase and is anonymous—it cannot be linked to you personally.

Your Text Content

We do not store, save, or log your text content. When you use NaturalWrite to improve your text:

  1. Your text is sent to third-party AI services for processing
  2. The improved text is returned to you
  3. Your original text is not stored on our servers or by the AI service

Your text content remains private and is only used temporarily for processing.

Local Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Writing preferences (grammar fixes, clarity improvements, etc.)
  • Onboarding completion status
  • Tutorial viewing status

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app.

Data Storage and Retention

All analytics data is stored by Aptabase. We do not maintain our own databases of user data. Analytics data is retained indefinitely in aggregated, anonymous form.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Aptabase: For anonymous usage analytics
  • Third-party AI services: For text processing (your text is not stored by these services)

Data Use

Analytics data is used solely to:

  • Understand how features are used
  • Improve app performance and user experience
  • Identify and fix issues

Your Rights

You can stop analytics collection by uninstalling the app. Since all data is anonymous, we cannot identify or delete specific user data.

Children's Privacy

NaturalWrite is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes were made.
